Numerical Simulation of the Electromagnetic Dross Removal Technology Applied in Zinc Pot of Hot-Dip Galvanizing Line

The forming of zinc dross floating on the surface molten in pot is inevitable during hot-dip galvanizing production. cleaning has always been a challenge and difficult problem to solve. Based electromagnetic field theory its application, new removal technology was proposed, driven by flowing possible remove an circumstance. Through coupling simulation flow field, force acting situation were simulated. results showed that can effectively act top affect zinc. Different load conditions distance between bottom iron core related effect discussed. Finally, optimal application parameters put forward.
